    Spring Break: Mountain West Conference!

    mwc-hoop-top.gif

Hey dudes. Just a little info for all who are interested. I’m going to be out of town from Wednesday to (probably) Saturday for the Mountain West Conference Basketball Tournament. No, I’m not playing basketball, I’m in the band. This means I’ll probably be too busy having fun to post stuff. So yeah, I’m not dead. At least, I don’t think I’m dead…

    Where the Nerdy Girls Are

If you’re a nerd (like me) and you’re looking for a nerdy girl (like me (me not being a nerdy girl, but one who is looking for a nerdy girl, just thought I’d clarify)), Wired has a little article on “The Anatomy of a Nerd.” Unforunately for those of us stateside, it’s about Onna Otaku (Girl Nerds) in Japan.

Apparently, you can find them on “Otome Road in trendy Ikebukuro.” I’ll have to remember that.

Now, the model they use for a typical Onna Otaku is pretty hawt. In fact, I’d say they just used a regular model and dressed her up all geek chic:

Y’know, it’s probably like those cool geeks you see in Taco Bell commercials. There aren’t geeks that are as trendy as that! Certainly not ones that eat at Taco Bell! I mean, as far as geeks go, I’m as cool as they get…

Final Fantasy XII Potion Taste Test!

First off, apologies for turning this into the Final Fantasy XII Potion blog. I’m just really obsessed with it at the time being.

Kotaku has done a taste test of the new Final Fantasy XII Potion drink! The verdict? It tastes like medicine. Of course! It’s a healing potion, so it is medicine! No word on whether any hit points were recovered.

I still don’t feel like importing this drink for $12.50 + shipping. Maybe they’ll release it stateside along with Final Fantasy XII?

    Threadless.com Ctrl+Z Reprinted Again!

    ctrl z.gif

Wow. I didn’t think it would happen, but Ctrl+Z got reprinted again at threadless.com. Now in black. I’m seriously thinking of buying this t-shirt again in Large instead of XL. I lost some weight playing DDR, and now all my t-shirts are too big. Sad, huh? But also happy, because now I’m less fat! Anyway, grab it before it’s gone, because this t-shirt is simply too awesome to pass up.

Japanese People Master T-Shirt Folding. Up Next, Potato Peeling!

That’s right, those Japanese people are at it again. Now they’ve got their sights on removing the skin from potatoes! Marvel as they cut a ring around a potato, dunk it in boiling water, then dip it in ice water! Afterwards, the skin just peels off! This is exactly the same technique I use to flay human flesh! I think the magic lies within the expansion and shrinkage of the potato during the boiling and icing. Or maybe I just made that up.

Seriously, though, I’m curious as to what the Japanese still have behind their sleeves. Cold Fusion, anyone?
