Firefox – Take Back The Web; Give Us Your RAM!
Seriously, I like Firefox and all, but it’s a total RAMaholic! For your information, I’m browing with one window, five tabs. It’s been on for a while, sure, but 375MB!?
Maybe this is fixed in the new cool 2.0 alpha release… Should I install it?

Yet More Cool Stuff From Japan!
So my brother recently came back from a trip to Japan, and he brought back some stuff for me! Here’s an inventory of the random junk I got:
Dr. Clinic Gum
So the only reason he bought this gum was the weird name. I guess it’ll fix my breath or something. It has a picture of a tooth under an umbrella…

DS Lite Gets US Date, Price
So yeah, the US is getting the DS Lite on June 11th for a whopping $130! Oh, wait, that’s how much a normal DS costs now. Good job to Nintendo for not screwing us on the upgrade.
After upgrading my Gameboy Advance to an SP, there was no way I was gonna buy a Micro while the DS was out! It’s nice to see that Nintendo cut the shenanigans. Unfortunately, it’s only coming in iPod white, so I’ll have to wait, lest they release a lime green one.
That’s my rule: if Nintendo releases a lime green X, I will buy the X. Heed those words, Nintendo, heed them wisely.

The Super Soaker Oozinator…
I remember when I was a kid, I could not get enough Super Soaker action. I wanted the one where it was just backpack of pure water (which probably left most kids over encumbered)! Enter the Super Soaker Oozinator! Here’s a highly suggestive commercial for it:
Unbeknownst to many, the Super Soaker Oozinator has already been well tested in the adult film industry. That’s right, the Super Soaker Oozinator produces money shots. As an added bonus the guy even says “major pumping required” at the end of the commercial. Major pumping, indeed…
When I saw this, I thought it was a joke! But apparently it’s for sale on Amazon.com. Weird.

Will Wii Rock You? The Nintendo Revolution Gets a Name Change…
So Nintendo has changed the name of its next-gen console from Revolution to “Wii.” Uh, Wii? So far, the reaction has been pretty tepid. And by tepid, I mean people hate the name. There are even conspiracy theories saying that the name is a hoax and they’ll announce the “real” name at E3…
What do I think? A name change is not gonna kill the system. Unless they decided to call it the “Nazi KKK 64” or something like that. I liked “Revolution,” personally, but whatever.
As long as they release it in lime green, I will buy it (notice the color scheme of my blog?). That, and they must have a Mario game at launch.
