I plan to eventually go back to school into a Master’s program after I’ve established myself and explored normal IT jobs. I don’t really want to do a graduate program until I really know what I want to do for my life’s work. When I do decide to go back, I’m going to use this blog as an example to follow. Some good information here.

Hi,
I am also interested in the whole social computing, Interaction Design and Human centric part of Computers. Your blog reflects the same thoughts that I’m going through as I contemplate applying to these new fangled specialized programs. I was wondering if you could share a few pointers; Something like- do these courses really teach the topics that they say they deal with; is a computer science general post graduate degree a better option over specializing; What can I expect from a social computing program, in terms of the kind of work one would do after the degree and what organisations recruit those postgrads; also could you list a couple of good schools and a couple of average schools one could apply to?
I might have asked a few too many q’s but I hope you can help me and I would really appreciate the help.
