I didn't practice or anything per se. There was a time where I'd practice a lot of jazz standards. My Funny Valentine just happens to be pretty easy and the changes are simple. So I just ran through it a couple of times then recorded it. Plus I left a lot of mistakes in. I've been playing since I was in middle school. So I guess... about 13 years? I think My Funny Valentine is in it too. I just memorized it a long time ago. The Miles Davis version is good, but I really like the Wynton Marsalis version a lot.
