I'm quite sure their servers will be able to take a massive slashdotting, but will your wallet be able to take it? From what I've read in their site, it seems they charge by proccessor time blocks (GPUs, in their terminology). I'm not sure how many blocks they give for free; so if you run over your monthly allotment, it could get quite expensive. And you'll continue to bleed during the whole period, as the site is still serving requests at full throttle. It would be a good idea to take time to optimise the code for animenano & notecentric during this interim period before you switch over to them. (Maybe more smart caching code and the like for animenano?) More efficient code == more requests served per GPU. Sigh. So now we'll have to monthly figures we'll have to worry about - bandwidth, and proccessor time. Remember the processor timeslotting that had to be done if you wanted to run a computer program in the 1970s? Well, it feels like that. The server virtualization tech looks great! Maybe AnimeNano as well? I think Notecentric seems to be a more critical system due to the fact that it's a service that needs to be up all the time. AnimeNano is great but I'm not sure it's as critical as Notecentric due to the fact us anime bloggers have other sources. Now, I don't want you to get me wrong. I love AnimeNano!
